The Local Enterprise Technical Assistance Scheme

(LETAS) aims to help local enerprises seek external

expertise to modernise and upgrade their operations.

The Scheme is administered by the Standards,

Productivity and Innovation Board or SPRING Singapore.
 

To be eligible, a company must satisfy the following conditions :

 a . It must have at least 30% local shareholdings.

 b . Its fixed assets (at net book value) must not

      exceed $ 15 million.

 c . If it is in the service industry, it must also have an

      employment size not exceeding 200 workers. 

Note : Generally, asistance support is up to 50% of

            allowable consultancy costs for their first project.
